Create Your First Programme

Create one or more programmes based on how you want to reward growth. Choose to create:

Eligibility rules and thresholds
Limits, caps, and approval criteria

Best for: Refer-a-friend, customer advocacy, word-of-mouth growth

Each programme runs independently and can be adjusted as your marketplace evolves.

Invite Affiliates or Add an Affiliate Sign-Up Form

Affiliates can be onboarded in two ways:

Invite affiliates directly via email
Embed an affiliate sign-up form within your marketplace

Once approved, affiliates receive unique tracking links tied to their account and programmes.

Automated Referral Tracking in Sharetribe

When affiliates begin referring users:

New user sign-ups are automatically tagged with affiliate IDs
Referrals are linked directly to Sharetribe users and transactions
Attribution remains intact across the entire transaction lifecycle

All tracking is handled automatically — no manual intervention required.

Track Marketplace & Programme Performance

The platform provides visibility across both marketplace and affiliate performance, including:

Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)
Marketplace revenue
Conversion rates
Programme-level metrics
Affiliate-level performance
Purchases and sales activity
Customer acquisition cost (CAC)

Metrics are calculated using Sharetribe transaction data and refreshed automatically.

Track Payouts & Rewards

When affiliates successfully meet programme criteria:

Rewards are marked as eligible in the payouts tab
Pending, approved, and paid statuses are tracked
Each payout has a clear reference and audit trail
Send payouts with our integration partners

Payments are managed externally, while the platform provides a single source of truth for tracking and reporting.
